Said to have been the last woodburning locomotive in the US in regular service. Now stored in Arkansas.

Any idea what year she made her last run? The Dowling & Camp Lumber Co in Slater, Fl. used woodburners until 1943, and at least one of their locos went to the CJ Jones Lumber Co. which operated into the 1960s. See Don Hensley's "Taplines" website for info on D&C. The University of South Florida website has a film clip of thew last run at another sawmill in Florida, again at a late date.

According to Richard Grigsby, the 7's saviour, it was last used to switch the mill at Fisher (night shift)till august of 1967.
