Part of a now-defunct complex I never understood, this ex-Great Northern "Ranch" car sits at Biddeford, Maine.

There was also a two-foot gauge train ride, decorated in GN colors.

just out of curiosity, what is happening with the equipment there....I would love to get my hands on those 2 Chance coaches for our new operation here in Niagara....They are an ideal car for people, expecially with air brakes, and larger wheels....

I remember these on the Empire Builder. I wonder how many are around. I would think they would make great snack bar/lounge cars for excusion service.

This is the same location in Biddeford, Maine that also has a shay on display. I beleive the owner was Ralph Day who I beleive passed away a while back.

The Shay (former Horseshoe Forrestry) is still on the site. I have no idea what the plans are for the 2 ft. gauge railroad, equipment etc.

I believe that Mr. Day once served as a member of the Board of Directors of Seashore Trolley Museum. Also I recall that he was a retired UPS executive.
