I know this was asked before but I can't find the answer in the archives.

What is the best campground for tent camping during Trainfest? We are currently leaning toward Clendening Lake Park since it has showers and is described as "undeveloped". Is there a better place to avoid noisy generators and the like?

Thanks!

We're staying at Spring Hill Campground, which is supposedly the closest to Dennison. They advertise "Quiet Serene setting", showers, flush toilets, dumping stations, electrical hookups, boating and fishing. At $10.00 a night, pretty reasonable too. Their number is 740-269-8463. They are located near the intersection of rt 212 and rt 164 if you want to look it up on mapquest.

These folks also have a couple of small camper trailers to rent for $15/night which have two beds, a micro fridge, and gas stove. No restroom, but the trailers are supposedly closer to the wash house than are the tent spots.
