I have heard rumors that there may be a Chicago Transit Authority "4000"-series elevated car that is being used as a residence or business in the town of Winnemucca, Nevada. Supposedly the car is largely intact, including trucks, and is sitting on a piece of track near the Amtrak station. If anyone knows anything about this piece of equipment, I'd be interested to know.
