One of the surviving AT&SF/D&H PAs. Can't remember which one, 16?

Santa Fe PA's 59L, 60L, 62L, and 66L became D&H 16, 17, 18, and 19 respectively. Doyle has #18, #16 is awaiting restoration by (for) the Smithsonian. #17 and #19 remain in Mexico in the Puebla museum.

I find it interesting that when the PA's went to scrap, Santa Fe did not save one or two for their own historic collection. Even sadder, when the EL dumped their PA's and Trainmasters (at the same time, iirc) the last two, one of each, sat at Hornell for a long time, while the others were dispatched. Given the times, circa 1968, I guess the preservation movement wasn't thriving. Thank goodness for the Mexican and Canadian roads.
