Hello all.

Unless anything changes, the 3254 is scheduled to lead the train to Tobyhanna, followed by the 514 running lite to aid in the switching moves at Tobyhanna. The 3254 should also pull the train back, I believe.

I was in Tobyhanna last night picking up a crew. While there seemed to be ice on the lakes, I'm not sure how think/safe it would be, especially with the freeze-thaw cycle we're in and will continue to see for the next week. That would be for the experts to decide.

The lead car heading east (towards TOBY) will be the combine #303 with the business end toward the locomotive per regular practice.

The cn3254 had a perfect trip she ran very well. She was in her natural enviroment with the temperatures being what they were (Canadian.)
The train sat for a while I guess it had to stick to its schedule but I think everyone was ready to leave at least 1/2 hour early. The folks at the Toby Station did a good job with the display's and grub for sale.
It was a perfect winter day with plenty of light and pleanty of steam heat both ways.
