Was thinking and wondering, what happened to the following cars ?


Is Erie 400 still in Huntington West Virgina ? I am only assumingit might be , since its been years since I have heard anything that the car is no longer Amtrak compatiable ? Anyone can report on its condition ? I heard a rumor sometime back, that the car had a fire ? truth ??

What ever happened to a ex B&O car, later Penn Central car 90 . I believe it carried the name Philadelphia Star ?

B&O car, I think the name was Wayside ? ?

ex Pullman parlor Chief Keokuck

GN sleeper Skagit River

Ex NYC business car later named Hiram

car named Running Crane Lake ?

car named City of Cleveland ( Nickel Plate ? )

car named Pass a grille beach ( acl or seaboard )

car named Jersey Dawn ? ( ex CNJ office car )

car named Pine Bluff ( SP office car )


and last but not least, Amtrak 10000 or the original Adolphus ( later a PRR and Penn Central car ) ? I know the car was owned by WIlliam Kratville then was used by Amtrak. Last I heard it was out back at the shops at Beach Grove Indiana ? What happened to this car ? It vanished ?? Why if Amtrak is no longer using it, did it stay at Beach Grove ?
