Looks like they moved the Centennial 6900 by rail, with the 6936 ahead. Is it going to a different display location?

Move over the BNSF tracks was supposed to take an hour, ended up taking 7.5 hours according to sources. Like the slogan on the boxcar says: SHIP BY RAIL!

Thought 6900 was going to the same place as 4023? Looks freshly painted!

Sounds like they had an truck trailer axle fail, while the 4023 was being moved.

Holy cow,

They don't call 'em Big Boy for 'nothin.

So, how does one fix such a problem...let alone in seven hours?

Looks like a good way to get steam locomotives back into the public conscious---just parade one down their friendly neighborhood street!
