I've been trying to run down leads on two railroads in Michigan with no success. They are:

Saginaw & Manistee Railroad/Railway, likely a logger.

A 3-foot gauge logger on Bois Blanc Island in the Straits of Mackinac. I found reference to the latter in Meints'"Michigan Railroads" as the E.H. Stafford Manufacturing Co. at Sand Bay on the Island.

I'd like to find out more on the two railroads.
