I am not looking for PAR bulbs. I know where to get them. I am looking for P-25 style, medium mogul base, round bulb with no neck.

just curious what you're needing this for.
The 32 volt p-25 sounds like a Gyralite.
If so maybe the folks at Trans-Lite can aim
you in the right direction.

There is a Philips (was Westinghouse) 200 watt PS-30 32 volt medium screw base lamp in their 2000 catalogue. It's not recommended because it has a C-6 filament, which won't stand up well to vibration. It also has an aluminum base, which isn't any good in my opinion. Also check Osram (Sylvania) and GE.

If you have them custom made, specify a C-5 filament and a brass base. Also be sure to have the manufacturer mount it in the bottom 1/3 of the glass envelope (sorry, don't have a catalogue which gives the dimensions), otherwise you might not be able to adjust the filament into the focus of the reflector.

Screw type lamp bases are, from smallest to largest: minature candelabra, candelabra, intermediate, medium, medium skirted, mogul, mogul 3 contact. There is no such thing as "medium mogul". The thread contour is called an Edison knuckle thread.

I misspoke the base size; it is "Medium". The bulb style is correct, from a ten-fifteen year old Philips catalog the 32 volt locomotive headlight bulb is designated "P-25".

I've checked both Phillips and Sylvania catalogs and neither makes a 300W 32V P-25. The PS-25 mentioned earlier has a long neck which most certainly will not work for what you want. I know from trying to find lamps for passenger cars that 32V is getting harder to find.

I know their website doesn't give much info, but did you try Aamsco?

Liz at Aamsco (800-669-9134) has 12 G-25 250 watt, 34 volts loco headlight bulbs on their way to me for $12.91 ea. Wish me luck with UPS!

Specialty Bulb Co. in Bohemia, NY.
They have two in stock, and say they can get more.

I forgot the bulb designations: S for [tapered] straight side, A for arbitrary (A-19 is the commonest household lightbulb shape), PS for pear shaped, G for globe, T for tubular, attached numbers refer to the actual size of the lightbulb. Headlights are usually the G type. When I can find the old catalogue, I'll post the appropriate dimensions for headlamp filament to base relationships. These are all Mazda standard specifications, and any lamp manufactuer should be able to make them, proviced they have the mold for the bulb.
