The most current word has it that only one car, a gutted former CB&Q heavyweight sleeper was involved in the fire. The car in question had a wooden roof structure and is probably totaled. However, it does have full brake gear and trucks. If you are interested, let me know off list and I will try to connect you to the owner--better than letting it go to scrap.Michael SeitzMissoula MT

Mike,If you get to Bozeman, MT, how about checking on the condition of the 5 cabooses that are reported there and the correctness/completeness of the data listed for them above?If you get any contact information for the cabooses, please list it here. It would be better to find new homes for them than to have them accidentally torched! The newspaper article inferred that they are not long for this world whether they are sold, given away, or scrapped, so time may be of the essence.Thanks, Roger
