Former Grand Trunk New England Lines GP9s, awaiting scrap on the St. Lawrence & Atlantic (the present operator of the Montreal-Portland line they were built for). Built in 1956, they replaced steam on this CN subsidiary, and were lettered CV in the 1980s, after rebuildings in St. Albans. It should be noted that 58 is ex-VTR 751, CR/PC 7301, nee- Cleveland Union Terminal 5901 (via http://groups.yahoo.com/group/LocoNotes). Reportedly (also from loconotes) the frames will be used in the construction of Green Goat locomotives.Tom Cornillie
