Work continues on the Polson #2 which is in a way a sister to the #70. The boiler is still in Milwaukee waiting for the work to commence, when they finally get started it should go quickly. All the firebox parts are ready to go in, with the exception of the new throat sheet. All FRA Ok's are in place for barrel patch. Running gear is just about 75% done. We just bored out the firemans side Cyl, but need to take another small cut to clean up the bore. Also need to complete the build up of the pistons for machining. Hopefully we have gotten most of the chronic lateral problems addressed. Front and rear trucks were rebuilt too. Frame back on wheels, shoes, wedges and binders are back on, brake rigging too.
