Has there ever been a book or video done on the BEDT steam ops? There's some nice pics on the net, but I'd love to have a quality book or video on the BEDT.

There is a paperbook book by Jay Bendersky, titled "Brooklyn's Waterfront Railways... A Pictorial Journey" which has some BEDT information in it, as well as coverage of all the other old Brooklyn railroads and carfloat operations.

I'm not aware of any video, but it would be nice to see some. I am amazed at how well Strasburg's Thomas (former BEDT 15?) handles 8 or 9 coaches, although for only a short distance. Big cylinders and low drivers, perfect for switching carfloats.

There was a roster here on RYPN, possibly connected with George Hart's equipment, that covered the BEDT, IIRC.
