1630 is at IRM.
1632 is at Belton, MO on the Belton, Grand View & Kansas City RR

1615, 1621, and 1625 also exist.

Correct, 1632 is in Belton, Missouri, in poor condition. It was previously displayed at the depot in Ottawa, Kansas.

Speaking of the Belton, Grandview & Kansas City, I made a visit to their location a few years ago during the week when no one was around. I subsequently sent them a note and never received a reply. Both EP (ex-SLSF) 2-10-0 # 1632 and their 2-8-0 looked pretty rough at that time. I wondered if a cosmetic restoration of either locomotive was planned. Anyone know if anything has been done to either of them? Some of their equipment looked pretty decent including the equipment for the passenger train. Are they still operating?

I believe that the Belton group is still operating. They have about a mile of track, and offer seasonal passenger rides behind a GP7. They painted 1632 about two years ago, and there is a more recent photo on their web site at

Dan:

Thanks for the update. According to their website, the round trip is 5 miles, making it probably 2-1/2 miles of track rather than just 1 mile.
