Article in today's Bangor Daily News says they will run steam, and "vintage" Diesels. Last time I looked, there was the Swedish 4-6-0, an ex-B&M Budd Car, and one or two GE 70 tonners. Let's hope they really do a good job of bringing in tourists. Their track is comparable to Guilfords, and they need that rebuilt!

Are there any other of these mothballed Sweedish engines plying the rails in similar service, or still in storage?

The H.C.W Steam Train in Hull, Quebec, Canada has one, E2 class 2-8-0 #909. It was operational at one time; I am not certain about now.

Four others went to three locations in the UK. One of them, Bygone Village near Great Yarmouth; was recently closed and the collection sold off. One is operational on the Nene Valley Railway.

How many where orginally mothballed?
