Just some nostalgia here. Goodland, Kansas Rock Island roundhouse just after the turn of the century, when my great grandfather worked as a fireman and engineer. Taken from the coal chute, looking west. The last portions were torn down in late-1956 and replaced by a one-stall metal enginehouse, which was still there, unused, last I knew.
