Thought I'd pass along an interesting tidbit, since car names have been mentioned. After the train's upgrade in 1992, all of the ex-Powhatan Arrow cars in the consist got the "Arrow" logo applied. (the Roanoke Chapter NRHS Arrow cars, 512 and 537 allready had the logo) The ex-Southern Cars received names honoring SR trains, such as "Royal Palm", "Southerner", etc. This was done in a script style that matched the "Arrow" logo. Ken Miller of the Roanoke Chapter did the logos, which were applied while the train was in Roanoke.
