Did the V & T get their steam back in operation yet? I am leaving Phoenix this Friday to make my annual trip to Reno for the Air races and when the railroad is running steam, I always spend a day in Virginia City riding and taking pictures.

Better luck next year. Problems caused by an incompetent welding job on the front tube sheet on #29 caused the need for a new tube sheet and a new set of boiler tubes. Then there is the mandate to repair the other locomotive up there, and a small crew.
