I appreciate your response. I realize now that I was out of line in making my remarks regarding the award. I meant no malice and was mostly venting my own personal frustration more than anything else--it's amazing how expensive these restoration projects can get. I just wish there were more institutions like Trains magazine that could afford to offer such grants. So much to do and so little money to do it with

Of course, Trains is to be commended for the annual award regardless of who or what project gets it, whether railroad or electric railway oriented. The award serves the same purpose--to preserve our country's railway heritage. Certainly a noble cause in my eyes.

How's things? Pretty busy on this end. Some opportunities to potentially shift further into the rail pres. side of things are a comin' for me; not sure what exactly I will do, as our place is a bit up in the air right now.
