You have to join the CB&Q Yahoo list to see this, but it is a former CB&Q water tank at Villisca, Iowa, apparently still standing:

Can't pull up photo but is it a wood tank or metal tank?

There is also one in Hamburg, Iowa on the Napier Line (Pacific Jct, Iowa to Kansas City, Mo.) A friend of mine was photographing this and one of the locals asked why he wanted a picture of a popcorn storage bin.

Seward, Nebraska still has one right next to the highway(15) as you enter town from the south. This one is on the Columbus branch of CB&Q's Alliance line. I would imagine it costs plenty to demolish or move one of these big steel tanks.
