A car go by that has a loud bam bam bam bam sound is caused by a flat spot on one of the wheels, right?

If this is correct, what causes the flat spot?
Does the truck drag with the wheel frozen or stuck? or brakes locked up?

thanks
Alan

Not necessarily. Loud bam bam bams can be casued by combies, shell outs, and other tread defects in addition to flat spots.
