I saw them last night on Made In America. Oshkosh doesn't seem to be interested in the adult marked anymore unless there has been a recent change.

I have several pair of Roundhouse, and they are okay. I have always had problem with some of the seams coming undone, and the ends of the fabric unraveling on me, especially in the front pocket.

I used to have some Key Brand overalls, and liked them. Are they still made in America?

The ones I had and absolutely didn't like were Carharts. While I like their coats and coveralls, the pair of overalls I had didn't last that long.

At least one of the Key brand bibs is imported.

Interesting. Since I can't find Oshkosh anymore, the only brand I buy is Carhardt, and have gotten great life out of them. I refuse to buy Hickey's anymore, and they were the last source I knew out here for Hickory striped overalls.

I'll have to try the Round house. Strange that I've never heard of them. I own the roundhouse.com domain name, and even with all the squirrelly people I've had ask me to acquire it, I've never had this outfit approach me.

Tractor Supply stocks hickory striped bibs in the Liberty brand name.

Pointer Brands stocks hickory striped coats. They call it a "Chore Coat" and it is the same coat an old-time steam engineer would wear.

I went out onto the web and made a Google search and found this interesting site for a store in Tennessee. Don't know anything about them.

They list several brands of hickory strip overalls. They list Key, Round House and Big Smith brands. (says Round House has been around since 1903)

Oshkosh's departure from making adult sized overalls came at the same time they moved their production overseas. I think several years after that, they came out again briefly with adult sizes, but they weren't the same, as they offered just standard sizes (S, M, L, XL) instead of the old sizing.

I bought my last pair of Oshkoshes from an old-style Men's Clothing Store in downtown Bowling Green, KY. It was several years after they quit making them, and this store still had some in stock. I picked up a pair of blue overalls and several of the nice light weight blue long sleeved work shirts.

Pointer has been making overalls, jackets etc. in Bristol, Tennessee just a few miles from my home for MANY years.

The Key bibs are of very poor quality. I was putting on a brand new pair and the strap broke- it wasn't even sewn, just tacked on. The shotty quality seems to be the norm with everybody's Key overalls around the roundhouse.

I have had very good results with my Carhardt blue bid overalls. I also have a back up pair from Sears that are not as good. I have a heavy insulated "chore coat" from Carhardt in blue that has been great in the colder weather. Unforuntunately, it has been discontinued by Carhardt. I will have to check out the Pointer brand coat as I am tired of having my son borrow my work boots and the chore coat.
