No link, but I found a table in Philadelphia too, perhaps ex B&O?

Wow. Just wow. I have been all around the outside of that plant in East Chicago, but never in. A roundhouse and tt stuck in like that.

I believe that the first pictured roundhouse/turntable is the old Inland Steel plant in Indiana Harbor . Now just one of the many parts of Mittal.

Yes, it is the former B&O Gray's Ferry engine facility . It was more or less at 34th and Jackson Streets in South Philly. In the steam days the facility included a rather extensive backshop capable of at least Class 2 and maybe Class 1 repairs. My father worked there as a locomotive mechanic apprentice during the mid-1940's.

That turntable is part of the state historic park in Folsom, California. It is a reconstruction, and I'm not sure whether there was a turntable located there in the past. It is roughly where the railroad (SP Placerville Branch) ran. The light rail line veers to the left from the right of way into the Folsom (Sutter Street) station. There are a few railroad cars and the old station to the upper right of the turntable on the former r/w.
