BNSF Caboose #12171

Ritzville, WA had a caboose dedication on May 28, 2005.  The caboose in question, BNSF #12171, was donated to Ritzville by the BNSF in July of 2004.  The Ritzville Adams County Train Club restored the caboose to NP #10425. Had production continued the next NP caboose would have been #10425. Why Northern Pacific? Because it was the first railroad through Ritzville (1888). In fact the NP made Ritzville.
